Educator, Graphic Designer, and Educational Technologist

 

II began my career as a graphic designer and photographer. My graphic design and photography work has been published in various newspapers and reproduced for universities and school systems as well as individual and private companies. My preferred artistic mediums are ceramics, dry media, digital photography, and digital art with proficient knowledge of the Adobe Suite CC. I have highly developed soft skills, organizational, and presentation skills with proficiency in computer literacy and integrating technology into the learning environment and teaching methodology. 
 
My teaching philosophy is based on using technology-based collaborative student-centered activities to promote active learning within a positive learning environment where each student develops into an independent learner.  I also use my graphic design background to develop activities and materials.
